Miami Zoo Wings of Asia Exhibit

Birds are the descendants of dinosaurs! That is the message at the Wings of Asia exhibit at Miami Zoo. Amid ruins in the forests of Asia, guests visit a working aviary research station. There, paleontologists and ornithologists are studying birds and their relationships to dinosaurs. This immersive aviary replaced an exhibit that was destroyed by hurricane winds; the new aviary had stringent requirements in order to protect the birds and the exhibits from future storms.
