Portico conducted site planning for the renovation and expansion of this 75-acre park originally envisioned in 1912 by the Olmsted brothers. Located on Beacon Hill and incorporating a major reservoir, the park has a wide range of stakeholders including local residents and park users, Seattle Public Utilities, golf enthusiasts, and the Veterans Administration. The park plan established a major new open space for organized and informal play and included an expanded community center, play area, picnic pavilion, and golf range.
